Storm Haiku Poem SLJ-Charlotte

Making an Haiku poem is really fun. It can only be three sentences but it s fun to base it on whatever you want. I chose to do this Haiku poem about Storms. I chose storms because it is usually raining outside so it reminded me of the worst storms that has happens in the last few years. It scares me, but writing about it, and turning it into something new is great. And now just doing this I don't feel as scared as I used to be. Below here is an image of my Haiku poem. Week 1 SLJ- Kowhaiwhai Template.

 For 2021 I am doing the tasks on the Summer Learning Journey website and I am looking forward to blogging and doing fun things. Here is one of the tasks below that I have recently done. It's a google drawing of my template that represents Maori. I tried to use presentable Maori colours for the background to match the spiral setting, then I used an PNG black Maori spiral and made lots of copies of it to make lots of Maori spirals to fill up the page. This is my Graffiti wall. This wall has been covered in sentences about voting and electing. Electing and voting is important because you get to vote for parties and people that represent your country and where you live. My Matariki Slideshow

This year in June, and the beginning of July, we have been learning about, the seven sister stars. Which some people call them Matariki.
