Summer Poem SLJ-Charlotte

An Summer poem is about one of the five senses that gets turned into a poem about Summer. For an example I chose taste. So my poem is about the things I usually eat at the beach during summer when it is the school holidays. I find it very fun. Below here is an screenshot of my summer taste poem. In the background I used summer colours too. (To help match the scene.) Written by Charlotte.

Camping List SLJ-Charlotte

One of the tasks on the Summer Learning Journey was to make or invent a camping list. So if you are going away camping for an example below is an screenshot of my camping list I made of my special summer place which is an awesome campground in Hokitika where it has a big playground and cabins. But there is little bits of land for people to come and set up their own tents rather than paying for an big fancy cabin. It's really cool my list. It has everything you need for camping. Anti-Gravity Glass SLJ-Charlotte

I followed Nanogirl's instructions to make an Anti Gravity glass and it worked! It was so cool! I burrowed Mum's glass that she keeps in the cupboard, and I used some things from the packet that I got given on my last day at school. I did over the basin in the bathroom just in case if it made a mess on the carpet. Below here is a photo of my Anti Gravity glass working! Written by Charlotte.

Optical Illusion Art SLJ-Charlotte

Below is a screenshot of my optical art on a google drawing from the Art blog on the Summer learning journey page. It is black and white lines being connected together sideways repeating it's formal pattern. I was going to do squares, but I thought I would do something new and unique. Something that I would do. My Special Summer Place SLJ-Charlotte

Below here is a screenshot of my Special Summer place. I chose the Hokitika Holiday Park. It is so cool. It has a playground some cabins and even small camping grounds for you to put your own tent on mini camping ground. On the screenshot below is an image of the Holiday park's logo.
